3 - MATTERS ARISING
- Solar panels -TP made contact with Graeme Weeks who has put him in touch with Michael Armstrong at Durham Cricket Board, rest to be covered in Agenda.
4 - TREASURER
Deposit Account - £40,399
Current Account - £30,551
Corporation tax is £2,289 for 2023. Electricity £1,507. Gas £378.
Ideas to invest money are Premium Bonds, Barclay’s Bond, Flagstone – instant access 4.5%.
Bar takings are £203,000 to date, total income approx £250,000 to date. Profit to date is approx £30k.
5 - BAR
2 year contract with LWC is up in January so needs to be renegotiated. We intend to keep the beers but will try to increase the barrelage to get more money. (£6k currently).
SKY – are upgrading the sky box tomorrow. There will be a small increase in monthly payment.
Zoe – flower arranging – only 2 midweek nights in total (Wednesday).
2023 accounts – query is for £4,500, director’s loan repayment. Needs to be explained.
Paul Cook, keeps writing letters asking for a job. AF to reply.
Kirsty is leaving in December but will return to work during the cricket season if required. Saturday evenings still need to be covered (are Jessica and Ross available?).
6 - CRICKET
Winter nets will start early January 2025.
Presentation night is 9th November.
7 - SQUASH
Winter leagues have started 1st team p3 w2; 2nds p2 w2; 3rds p2 w1; 4th p2 w1
Handicap competition starts beginning December. Auction starts 12 noon on 24/11 in the bar.
Boldon Open, organised by Cai Younger, starts on 16/11, 8.30 am start. (all day Saturday event) Kitchen access required and bar access from 12.

- Need to select date for AGM (Tuesday 3rd December at 7.30 pm) and do agenda. Notice to be up 3 weeks before (12th November).
