Advanced material handling is a local forklift and powered access equipment supplier who has sponsored Redcar Squash and Racketball Club for over 6 years.
Where it all began …
Steve and Peter started Advanced Material Handling in September 2009. After working for market leading materials handling companies, and with over 30 year engineering experience between them, they decided to start their own business. It has grown from Steve and Peter to employing 8 full time, qualified and experienced field service engineers with fully equipped service vans, 2 qualified and experience workshop engineers and 2 apprentices. Also now there are full time service and sales managers with support administrator, and a rental controller for their short term hire fleet. Advanced are based on Riverside Park Industrial Estate in Middlesbrough, and specialise in new and used sales, short, long term hire, service, maintenance, lolers, and parts for all makes and models of forklift trucks, and access equipment.
They also have a long term commitment to train and support all employees to the highest standards they can achieve. Recently becoming Volvo Penta service centre for the North East.
