Coaching

Northern Squash Club has a team of qualified coaches offering sessions for juniors and adults at every level - from complete beginners picking up a racket for the first time to competitive players looking for that extra edge.

Junior coaching

Richard Vitty runs Saturday junior sessions that have been a cornerstone of the club's development programme for many years. His schools outreach work has introduced the game to hundreds of young people across the region, and many of Northern's current junior members found their way to the club through Richard's sessions. Weekday sessions provide additional court time for committed juniors looking to develop further.

Adult coaching

Bob Aynsley runs group coaching sessions for adult beginners and improving players, as well as individual coaching by arrangement. Sessions cover technique, movement, strategy, and conditioning. If you're not sure which option is right for you, get in touch with the relevant coach directly - contact details are below.
